The phone looks smart , it's easy to set up and the functions are easy to use.
Unfortunately, the sound quality is extremely poor and there is a constant hissing on the line making it near on impossible to hear the person on the other end of the line. I have tried plugging in another phone, so I know the problem is with the Panasonic and not the line.
I will be returning this phone.

Good looking compact phone and base. Easy to operate. However the sound quality was terrible - voices were muffled and fuzzy and it was difficult to make out what the other person was saying. The ringtone volume was also very quiet, even at top volume. I'm not sure if it was just a problem with this specific phone but I did not want to risk having to return it a second time so just got a refund and will look for a different cordless phone. In the meantime am sticking to my old fashioned corded phone which works perfectly well (albeit without the flexibility of moving around the flat whilst chatting).

Easy to use. Reception clear. Buttons big enough for pudgy hands! My only gripe is probably my own fault - I would like to purchase another handset for upstairs, but once the sinlge telephone has been purchased, this can only be done via the manufacturer - at least that was what we were told! I would suggest that if 2 handsets are needed it's best to purchase both at the same time.

Bought my last DECT phone from JL five years ago and only now beginning to fail, despite new batteries fitted - LCD screen is losing its light as well as keypad slow as ever - replacement had to be sought and naturally at John Lewis, I looked at alternatives.
The Panasonic KX-TG6811 has quite a few good features for the cost price. Ranging from a backlit white light screen showing thick numericals and numbers on its large screen makes it super easy and quick to read. I will be returning in-store to purchase another single handset when my old Siemens phone finally dies - the Panasonic KX-TG6811 is too good to miss.
The buttons are clear and easy to read as well as being backlit as well. The winning "card" of this product however is the quality of speech it imparts and for the fact that it has a speakerphone facility that makes life so easy! The cradle also has a page facility with a large button for instant access.
Only downsides are that this phone doesn't have the option of having the extra cost option key fob for house keys AND that the handset is a bit slippery and could be made with grippier plastic to ensure the phone doesn't slip out of the hands.
A perfectly priced DECT cordless phone that is well made, easy on the eye but above all well designed and fit for purpose; grab yourself a bargain!
