The Gitzo GK2542-82QD Tripod Kit includes the GT2542 Mountaineer Series 2 carbon fibre eXact tripod and GH3382QD Series 3 centre ball head. The tripod supports up to 20kg and the legs, when fully extended, reach a maximum height of 167cm (with centre column extended). This kit is aimed at professional photographers who own large digital SLRs with heavy telephoto lenses attached (such as a 200mm). The head comes supplied with an independent pan lock to make horizontal adjustments and a separate knob for friction control.
